THIS CHARITY EVENT SUPPORTS THE BUTLER FAMILY AND FOOD FOR THOUGHT. GIVE HOPE TO SOMEONE IN NEED!

On July 12th, just 5 days before Hallie was due to begin her new career as a nurse practitioner, we learned that she has Stage III breast cancer. They have had first and second opinions and the opinions from the cancer doctors are consistent. She needs chemotherapy, a mastectomy and radiation. Not the news she was hoping for, as the side effects of chemo and radiation are terrible and lifelong. Craig is a local Spokane Police Officer and they have two boys in 3rd and 7th grade. Please join us in supporting this local family! “God is good and we are calling on His healing power to make its way through Hallie’s body and to support the emotional health of our entire family. Please join us. Thank you!”.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

In Spokane County 1 in 5 children live in "food insecure" homes. That means those families don't have enough food for every family member to lead a healthy life. This doesn't always mean that there is nothing to eat. But it can mean that children get smaller portions than they need, or parents aren't able to afford nutritious foods. This food insecurity threatens a child’s well-being and potential for success. Food For Thought provides weekend meals for over 500 students each week to help improve school performance, academic success and cognitive development.
